AI isn't going to have the effect most people are hoping for. It's not going to usher in rampant abundance like the Tech Bros are claiming.
As you stated, it's leading to even more content for the masses to mindlessly consume.These people will passivate themselves out of existence consuming it all.
High-agency people will thrive moving forward. The low-agency folk will become softer, weaker and even more dependent.
I think about the rift between quality, unique writing and popular writing often. And the A.I. struggle is real, bud. It's from San Francisco, so it can never embody dudes from Michigan or Pennsylvania. No way.
